Jean-William Laliberté is an Associate Professor of Economics at the University of Calgary. He received his Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Toronto in 2018, his M.A. from the University of British Columbia in 2011, and his B.A. from Université Laval in 2009. His research interests are in labour and public economics, with a focus on the economics of education, intergenerational mobility and applied econometrics.
He joined IZA as a Research Affiliate in May 2023.
