Barbara Biasi is a labor economist broadly interested in education and creativity. Some of her recent work has covered teachers’ labor markets, the determinants of scientific knowledge diffusion, and the labor market effects of mental health.
Barbara is about to receive her PhD from Stanford University, will be a postdoctoral research affiliate at the Industrial Relations Section at Princeton University in 2017-2018, and will start as an Assistant Professor at Yale School of Management in 2018. She holds a BA and a MSc from Bocconi University, and is a Research Affiliate at the Fondazione Rodolfo Debenedetti.
In her spare time she enjoys traveling, she’s a fond runner, and she practices Ashtanga Yoga.
Barbara joined IZA as a Research Affiliate in March 2017.
