乔se E. Galdon-Sanchez is Professor of Economics at Universidad Pública de Navarra (Pamplona, Spain). Jose Enrique received a Ph.D. in Applied Economics at the University of Minnesota and was a post-doctoral student at the London School of Economics and Political Science. He has been a Visiting Fellow at Princeton University, the Centre for Economic Performance (LSE), UC Santa Cruz, Johns Hopkins Carey Business School and the Research Department of the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis, among others. His research interests are in theoretical and empirical labor economics. He has done research on the impact of labor market flexibility on employment and job flows. He is currently working on the effects of fixed-term contracts on the functioning of the labor market, on the structure of employment protection legislation, and on personnel economic issues (performance appraisal, incentives and pay settlements).

He joined IZA as a Research Fellow in October 2003.
