Feicheng Wang is currently a tenure-track assistant professor at the Department of Global Economics and Management, University of Groningen.

He obtained his PhD in Economics from the University of Nottingham in 2017. After that, he joined the Chair of International Economic Policy at the University of Göttingen as a postdoc.

His research analyses issues related to the interaction between the labour market and trade openness with a focus on China. He is also interested in topics of development economics and environmental economics. His work has been published in the Journal of Human Resources, Journal of Development Economics, Canadian Journal of Economics, and others.

Feicheng Wang joined IZA as a Research Affiliate in October 2021.
