Daniel Henderson is a professor of economics and the J. Weldon and Delores Cole Faculty Fellow at the University of Alabama, a scientific chair at FWO (Research Foundation - Flanders) in Brussels, Belgium and a lecture professor (Tianjin Thousand Talents Program) at Nankai University (School of Mathematical Sciences), in Tianjin, China. He was formerly an associate and assistant professor of economics at the State University of New York at Binghamton. He has held visiting appointments at the Université catholique de Louvain (Institute of Statistics), in Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium, Xiamen University (Wang Yanan Institute for Studies in Economics), in Xiamen, China, the University of Colorado (Department of Economics), in Boulder, Colorado and at Southern Methodist University (Department of Economics), in Dallas, Texas. He received his Ph.D. in economics from the University of California, Riverside in 2003 and his B.A. in economics from the University of California, Davis in 1998.
