Robin Jessen is acting deputy head of the Department of Macroeconomics and Public Finance at RWI - Leibniz Institute for Economic Research in Berlin, Germany.
He received his Ph.D. in economics from Freie Universität Berlin in 2017. Before joining RWI in 2018 he worked as a research associate at Freie Universität Berlin.
His research interests are in empirical public finance, labor economics, and macroeconomics. He is working on better understanding the individual and aggregate effects of actual and hypothetical reforms of the tax and transfer system.
Robin Jessen joined IZA as a Research Affiliate in April 2023.
