Fomba Kamga Benjamin is currently associate professor at the University of Yaounde II-Soa. He obtained his Ph.D. in Economics from University of Yaounde II-Soa under African Economic Research Consortium supervision in November 2008.
前to his doctoral studies, Fomba Kamga earned a Masters degree in finance and development economics at the University of yaounde II-Soa under “Programme de troisieme Cycle Interuniversitaire en Economie (PTCI)”. He also spent several years working for the Center of Research in Economics and Management.
His main research interests are in the field of development economics, labor economics, labor contracts, job satisfaction, job motivation and evaluation of the labor market policy. His current research focuses on the labor contracts and the labor market outcome in the develping countries, and regulation and performance of enterprises.
He joined IZA as Research Affiliate in May 2007 and became an IZA Research Fellow in January 2013.
