Andreu Arenas is an Assistant Professor of Economics at the University of Barcelona (IEB and IPErG).
His research interests include political economy and institutions, and the economics of education and intergenerational mobility, and more broadly, policy evaluation and causal inference. He has been a researcher at Princeton University's Bobst Center and at CORE (UCLouvain). He received a PhD in Economics at the European University Institute and an MSc in Economics at the University of Warwick. His research has been published in The Economic Journal, the Journal of Economic Behavior and Organization, or the Quarterly Journal of Political Science, among others.
Andreu Arenas joined IZA as a Research Affiliate in May 2023.
